Eliza Tyksinski is celebrating 15 years of teaching Music Together®!
Growing up in a musical family meant many hootenanny play a-longs
with her professional bluegrass Grandaddy plucking and singing at family gatherings!
Eliza has a B.S. in Art Education from UW-Madison.
While teaching art in Vermont public schools for 8 years, music became relevant as an enriching element.
Upon returning to Madison she worked at Monroe Street Fine Arts Center, and then as the Atwood Community Center
Safe Haven Coordinator at Lowell School. She continued to work with ACC with the citiArts artWORKS! program.
Eliza has written grants for arts programming in public schools and with the community center.
She taught in the College for Kids program at UW for 16 years.
